Orange Segment 29er frame, sterling silver, XL size so equivalent of a 21 I think. Amazing condition and around 18 months old. Yes it is a big looking frame but it feels good, long, stable, and very confidence inspiring. I could have used a slightly longer stem but I live my stubbies. The frame is designed for 120mm forks. You wouldn’t believe this bike only has 110mm of travel, it’s capable of way more than you might think, read the reviews, watch the videos, it is truly immense. Orange have excelled themselves with this one, hand built in the UK, in Halifax as with all Oranges full sus models. There is barely a mark on this frame, a bit of grubbiness here and there in the hard to reach places. Marks in the usual place i. E the drop outs, brake mount where the paint has rubbed off, but other than that no major chips, scratches or anything. The paint is a little bit scuffed here and there when caught in the right light, from knee pad rub, cable rub etc but it’s not immediately obvious until the light catches it at a certain angle. This is me being pedantic, most people wouldn’t even notice. Frame protection tape was used on a lot of the frame and I have since removed this for a thorough pre-sale clean. The stickers are all in perfect condition other than the size guide sticker on the seat tube which is a bit tatty and slightly. Coming away on one side, I have tried to show this in the photos, it’s very minor! The mirrored finish of the paint is beautiful!! I would give this frame a 8.5 out of 10 for condition, obviously it’s not factory new quality but really is as near as damn it. I very much doubt you will ever find a better quality used frame. The swing arm is barely marked, the down tube and under the BB is also near perfect. The photos are a very honest account of its condition. The pivot bearings I have not inspected – let sleeping dogs lie, but they certainly feel perfectly fine when ridden, no play etc. The rear travel is 110mm and the shock is a fox float CTD kashima, and was fitted about 5 rides ago, it is brand new. It has burgtec titanium bushes fitted, one of which is offset by 1 degree to slacken off the head angle a bit. It has made the world of difference to the feel. The shock is also fitted with an air can spacer, it is the larger of the 2 sizes fox says you can fit. I have left the gear cable outer in to make fitting a new one easier, although there is nothing wrong with that outer cable. The bottom bracket is a Shimano job and is running smooth, I cannot guarantee how much life is left it it. At the minute though it is spot on. The front mech mount is currently being used by a 77 designs mini chain guide. I hate front mechs and this chain guide is light weight and very easy to set up. Depending on what cranks you are running you may need to add washers behind the mounting arm of the chain guide. I was running it will middle burn cranks and no washers and it had no chain rub. The frame has cable guides for a front mech if you are that way inclined, also and old style ISCG mount around the BB cup. The front mech mount is a direct mount job, for the short pull variety of mechs, I can’t remember the exact technical term for them. The frame comes supplied with Hope headset cups already fitted, it is a tapered head tube. The bearings will come in a box with the other bits and pieces listed below, you will have to fit these yourself, but the rest assured the cups are pressed in and easy to go. There is also a Hope crown race supplied to match the headset. The rear maxle (axle) KS supplied and is good for a 142×12 hub. Also included but not in the photo is the following.. 1 Orange bikes black neoprene swing arm protector. 2 the bearings for the headset! 3 x3 blanking plugs for the internal dropper hole on the down tube. 4 smaller size fox air can spacer. I will be using a local courier that’s part of the APC network. My courier will not deliver to you either so it will have to go via parcel farce which WILL COST YOU MORE. If you are unsure please message me. This is rubbish, do not even consider trying it on. The item “Orange Segment MTB Frame, 29er, XL” is in sale since Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
